Hi, I'm Emma Sergent and I am a Communications with a minor in Public Relations student at the University of Central Missouri! My dream job is to work on a public relations team for a professional athletic organization. As I am only a junior in college, I have a long way to go before I get there. Since being in college, I have joined Alpha Sigma Alpha (ASA) sorority. In ASA, I serve as the Vice President of Education. With this leadership opportunity I have planned multiple events such as bid day, senior send-off, educational programs on various topics, big sister & little sister reveal, and more! I have also had the chance to work with organizations such as Special Olympics, Girls on the Run, and UCM's Thrive students. Alpha Sigma Alpha has taught me many lessons on time management, event planning, and effective communication that I will take with me into my career. I hope to become either a social media assistant or public relations assistant when I graduate college. Until then, I have created various examples of social media posts I would make for a brand.
